4 Types Of Life Coaching Students

Life Coaching is slowly becoming a well-known term. It is a process of taking charge of your life. When done in correct way it can bring dramatic changes in people’s life.

However, one thing we must keep in mind: not everyone will get the same result. Different people are at different stage of life. Depending on their stage and their state of mind they are categorized in 4 segments.

Depending on which segment you are you will get result accordingly. Know this that even the person on the highest level was once on the lowest level. So, it makes sense to have patience in the process.

The 4 types of students are: Arta, Artharthe, Jigyasu & Gyani.

Arta:

Arta are those people who wants to get rid of some problem. When someone is having a problem in their life and the problem is getting worse and in pursuit of solving that problem the person turns to a life coach, guru or spiritual guide.

In most cases the person when solves the problem he or she leaves the guru or coach. It might seem that the person is not a sincere student but understand this is how the process works. They will leave for some time and then when yoga happens, they will again turn towards spirituality or self-development.

Most of the people coming to spiritual master & life coach come under this category. In my more than 16 years of experience as a coach, consultant & trainer I have found that 8 out of 10 people are Arta.

Artharthe:

These are the people who want to achieve certain goals in their lives. Mostly the goal is a material goal or monetary goal. In pursuit of achieving the goal, when the person turns towards spiritual processes then the person comes into this category.

Such a person has been an Arta in the past and knows the power of spirituality & life coaching process. So, he or she tries to achieve the goal by deciding to work with a life coach or spiritual master.

I have had the opportunity to work with such people. They are very enthusiastic and when provided with right guidance they can do wonders in society.

Jigyasu:

A person who after achieving a lot of success and overcoming problems in life is now curious about life itself, comes under this category. Such person has also been an Arta or Artharthe at some point in his or her life.

People coming into this category are curious about spirituality, yoga, meditation, etc. They are very wise in their own might. They grow very fast in spiritual processes. Working with such individuals is very interesting.

I had a student who was 78 years old who lived near my center. Even though he had problem walking, he used to climb one floor with the help of a stick and come to my center to learn about spirituality.

Gyani:

Certain people have so much knowledge but still they choose the path of spirituality and follow a certain guru or life coach. They just choose to walk a certain path. They are not lacking anything in life but it is their conscious choice to live the rest of the life under a particular path.

Which One Are You?

It doesn’t matter in which category you are. All a person needs to start the process of spirituality. It will uplift you and make your life easy.

Life Coaching or Spirituality is a process of unleashing your true potential. It not only helps you overcome challenges in life and achieve goals but also helps you realize your true nature.
